D-Bat making an impression

by TXfastpitchsoftball » Tue Sep 01, 2009 9:33 am

Interesting . . . what is the going rate to play in the DFW metroplex for most clubs. All I know is it isn't even close to volleyball or soccer.

per season...there is a spring/fall season.

I assume there charging that per season from the above mentioned source...can anyone "insider" confirm???

if so they'd better be using there d-bat indoor facilities once a week and have dedicated fields to practice on once a week.

Even then...that's what $4-500 a month? I guess if they play 3 very expensive tournaments Sept-December that would be about right. I'm factoring in the camps (but they probably charger per player entry fees for that also). Wonder where all that cash goes?

Don't know...and everything above is speculation...I know I wouldn't take a team to something that expensive...unless of course the parents are already paying that...it's a hard sale

I know for a fact, yes I used the word fact, that it does not cost no where near $900 to play for DBAT.

The coaches are paid with the $900 per season. You still have Tournament fees. Plus they get new uniforms after every season; guess who is paying for that too? Need equipment? You can rent it from D-Money by the season. Be sure YOU get all the facts so you don't have to take out a second mortgage on your home. I spoke with one Dad that said they had to pay a $50.00 tryout fee that was none refundable. Read everything before you sign the player contract. I would draw up my on Coaches Contract and have them sign it before you signed the player contact.

No try out fees! Where does everyone get their information from? Another thing, ever heard of sponsors? I think people who don't know just make stuff up.
