I've read and reread your post, and I can't find any possible interpretation inconsistent with a sarcastic attempt to dismiss the conduct as not being noteworthy...in essence, to excuse it.

What I am tired of this: Is that people tend to fall along party lines way to often and not say what needs to be said about their own party.
Did you complain about the lies of Bush II? The ones that killed thousands of our brother, sisters, mother, fathers friends for a WAR that was laid out with lies?
I did not see to many damn Republicans(I am an Independent)say poo about that.
But once a Democrat was elected they all came out of the woodwork and started to talk sh**.
I saw the same thing with the Democrats when Bush II was in office(but honestly not as much and not as many wacko's that hate black people). It happens both ways.
So I ask, is it because he is Black or that you are just falling the rhetoric of the Republican party?

Of course there is corruption throughout our government. Government corrupts, by its very nature. That is why you should favor limited government.

There are bad actors in the private sector, sure, but their reach is liimited and they can be dealt with. What is your remedy against the government when it transgresses? There is none.

The "Bush lied" canard is way past tired. It was the uncontroverted conclusion of the intelligence community that Saddam had WMD's. His possession and development of WMD's was in fact conclusively documented by inspectors in the past, and Saddam provided no proof whatsoever that those weapons had been disposed of.

In fact, Saddam by his own admission cultivated the belief that he had WMD's in order to forestall U.S. military action, and also as a deterrent to Iran. So when everybody (including the U.N. inspectors, the U.S. intelligence community, and the global intelligence community) believed that Saddam possessed and was producing WMD's, how exactly is it a lie when Bush employs that assertion as just one of numerous and independently adequate justifications for the Iraq invasion?

Bush one messed up and should have finished the job in Iraq, Bush II took down a leader that should have been disposed of a while ago. I THINK, wrong time wrong reasons(IMHO). Other countries as well talk a big talk and carry a little stick. There of course were a lot of others reasons why they choose to go into Iraq, but I dont think we needed to focus on that.

Two parts Here Skarpy, 1st have a little respect for the people whom did die over there. Being a former military person I know what it is like. My family was over there fighting without question for a war that perhaps should have been thought out a little more and dealt with differently.
I hope you did not mean any disrespect to them. To the people whom lost loved ones over there it will never be "way past tired".

Perhaps it is more in the media now then back when Bush II was in office, but I dont think the Aryan nation, KKK or white supremacist or other groups based on you ethnic background/convoluted beliefs were involved in multiple plans and a few even really bad attempts to get close to the president to cause harm. Every president has it Wacko stalkers and hate groups that dont like them. I am seeing much more of that with Obama. I can sit back and just watch as you donkeys and elephants make a mess out of the world.
I can observe and then write what I see. I will not see eye to eye with a Republican or a Democrat on all things, but on some of course. I dont know how someone thinks the Democrats or Republicans have all the right answers? They dont and people should speak out when they do see something wrong.
