1st Year 14U Teams

by ReadAllAboutIt » Sat Sep 05, 2009 8:37 am

Well, Mr weather man, you have some opinions of what some think!!!!

The Thunder and Aces have it made - Just let these 2 teams fight it out!!!!

Sting have no idea who is on their team - or 2 teams if that is the case!!!

Storm, Impact, Lite, Kaos and all other 1st year 14u have a lot of work to do so they do not get the crap beat out of them when they hit the dirt!!!

Sounds like some need 'bunches more' of those practices so they can fight it out for 3rd

For the record, I would put my money on FB Thunder and Aces to be the co leaders of the pack. Both teams were great, both got better and both teams are gonna beat the crap out of Impact, Fury, Storm, Lite and Kaos and all the rest as far as 1st year 14u teams go.

I would go as far to predict Thunder vs. Aces at RM Championship.

Next Question!

Zig should lay off the sticky bud!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was not serious about Thunder and Aces in RM Championship. I would have expected you to pick up that being a joke FRITO. My money is on 96 Phantomz! Okay seriously, I would expect to see Houston Power, TPS, Coastal Elite and 95 Kaos in final 4 at RM. Sneaky Cleats would also be on my short list if they get in.
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

Texas Sting has two 14U teams. At least in the Texas Sting Fall Qualifier on September 19th-20th there is a Texas Sting Blue and a Texas Sting White signed up in the 14U bracket.

Since N Texas had two top five finishes at ASA A Nationals. Everyone has to put the Fusion and the Diamonds (or should I say Glory) at the top of the list. S Texas can start lining up in third place....Thunder, Fury, etc....

Whoa! The way I read it TPS was the top Texas team in Ga. NTx and the 96's are dreamin' again. You're prediction, Obama's economics plan and five dollars will get you a Starbucks.

They told everyone there was going to be one team that will move to 18U next year. But when Sting had over 50 at their weekend tryout they started talkng about 2 teams. They were so confused that they called and offered spots and also emailed the same girls and told them they didn't make it. Second team didn't have a coach, etc., etc.

$$ is the root of all evil.

Well lets think this out...they had 50, so they formed two teams. I guess the other option was to keep only one team and send the other 34 players home for the fall to sit on their butts. So instead they offered an opportunity for another group of girls to play. Hope your DD was one of the ones that doesn't have a team, would be well deserved!

JMO..... Texas Storm Elite, FB THunder, and Aces will be battling it out this up coming season. It is going to be very interesting, but lot's of fun!! That is for the 96 group. But as far as 14U all around TPS 95 is going to win it at Nationals. Outstanding stacked team.

Back from vacation and got a lot of good information,

Thunder, Fury, and Aces should start the season strong and added some great talent. I look forward to seeing them hit the field.

I also heard the Sting that Bob Morse is coaching has a mixture of 95/96 players so they should compete decently once the chemistry is right. The other Sting team is coached by a parent and allows more girls to play in his organization.

Storm and Lite will need to get the chemistry down but should compete from the get go due to the talent they have. May not beat the Aces or Thunder but should give them a run. This will change for them in the spring and look to seeing them winning their share of tournaments.

Kaos and Impact - have not heard anything from these 2 camps. Both have always put together a competive team when it counted. Not sure if loseing the players both teams did will take them out of the running for the fall but could bounce back when the next round moves usually happens during the holidays.

I guess we will see how it all turns out for the fall and then the new Spring predictions can take place. It's all about the girls so GOOD LUCK TO ALL and wish all the girls a happy and healthy season.
