by fstptchbtch » Mon Sep 07, 2009 8:43 am

They have signed up for the 14u tournament in Forney.Whats up with that. The last team to sign up to play in a b/c tournament with eight 14B teams, four 97 teams, and three 96 teams. LMAO.

Thank you! I'm sure he'll be first in line to complain about A tournaments not making though.

Forney is the best 14U tourney for that week. Most of the tournaments for 14U fall will basically have the same teams each week.

I think that's kind of the point everyone has been making about that week. You're right, it is the best...because all of those A teams are in it. If they played A then Hurst would have been the best but without all of those young B teams.

The bashing continues..... what? Someone's DD not make the cut so you gotta poke?

The team is Texas Glory Adkins 14U, no? They are signed up in a 14U Open event, no? I believe over half their team moved up and they have a number of new faces, maybe they want to get the new crew on the dirt to see what they can do? Probably want to get games in? Just a thought. Hurst while an A tournament only has 8 teams so games would probably be limited. Should they be playing up? Probably so. I bet after one weekend they will feel they should be and will make adjustments.

The team is Texas Glory Adkins 14U A actually. Games are limited in Hurst to 6. They could go 2 & Q in Forney so if, as you say, they want to get games in-wouldn't a 6 game guarantee be the way to go? Just a thought. In their defense, Forney makes the most sense for them geographically, which cannot be said for ANY of the other "A" teams out there.

Jose. This is not poking. That team in that field sticks out like a sore thumb. I think there is 15 out of 20 teams classified as B. The next tournament is the same story. Not a hater of this team in particular but come on. I hope they win both b/c there is no excuse.

There was a 16 A in South Lake available that should have been closer to their level.

You know, there are a lot of people complaining about teams on this website. In my opinion, as an eleven year and still going fastpitch player, this all is insulting. I'm in High School, and through my play the one thing I have seen is the parents playing their own game outside of ours. The game is about the players. We hate to see when our parents stir up drama. A team is a team...that INCLUDES the coaches, players, and quite frankly the PARENTS! Think about it, how do you all think we feel when we look up in the stands and see our parents in their own little mind game with others. It affects our game. If Glory Adkins plays in a 14U tournament, what does that matter to anyone other than the people on the team? I agree if they are a new team with new faces, they need to work into their build up on games. But it really doesn't matter. Let the kids play and do their best. I bet if you ask any one of them how it feels out there on that field when they are all connecting as one they will tell you its the greatest feeling in the world! However ask them when they aren't as one how it feels especially when its because of parents....they will tell you it's the worse. Just let the kids play their game...for some its their life, I know it's mine.

If you're not on the team what does it matter to you unless you was thinking that this is your chance to win one and Glory just ruined it for you. I say that if you want to be the best then you have to beat the best and from what I gather with this, some of you think that Glory is one of the best. Sooo, if you think that you are dissing them with this thread, you're not. JMO.

Way to bring up a thread from 2009
