Ok here we go, first tell me how some teams play 2 pool games friday nite and the get to show up at 4p Sat, while some teams get there Sat. morning at 7 am to warm up for an 8am game and leave the park at midnight, then back again Sunday at 7.a
This kids are 10 yrs old and yes they fought it and played well.
Way to many teams and way too long at the park. 17 hours days will wear your ass out. Not one team was happy except the Black Sox and then they got busted by teams who had slept there. Not a fan of the Southlake tournery except the great teams there.

Mr Tuggey jump on here as soon as he could to explain situation prior to your post,and left his contact e-mail and phone number for you to express your concerns. I am sure he will do what ever it takes to continually improve the tournaments in South Lake.

The kids are 10 years old but as a parent of a select ball player long weekends at the ball park is something you need to get use to. If its too much, go back to rec ball and when they get older then maybe move them back to select ball. You are getting a taste of the life style of travel ball right now. You will either love it or leave it, it's your choice.

That is exactly why I don't like Blind Draws.

That was ridiculous. That a team that had Friday pool games didn't play until 4pm on Saturday and only played two games. I know that the Sox first game was against a team that was on their 4th game of the day. Luck of the draw is right.

Yes, the TD apologized but you have to admit that was hard on 10 and 11 year old girls and from 7 - 12 in one day is too much. TD's have a tough job so I like the fact that he addressed it before everyone went off on the boards. These things just happen sometimes in especially in big tournaments.

We played in SL last weekend and it's clearly stated that where you are in the bracket is randomly selected. For any mom's of 23 out there that don't have a clue, that means "luck of the draw", regardless of when you play your pool games. I think the TD addressed the other issues of kids playing late... and short of kissing your fat Walmart a$$, what else would you like them top do?

By the way.....I thought the tournament was well run....i loved seeing all those good teams out there playing against each other.....lets do this again real soon...

I mean afterall we donated some good coin for a good cause last weekend in Grapevine and then you have to go off and lay a big turdlette on the whole thang.
