If your players cry when they break a nail, skin their knee, strike out, miss a ball or mess up their hair or make-up.

Basically if the bone isn't broken, tendon/muscle not torn or the cut does not require stitches, they shouldn't cry. Even then, it's questionable!!!

- A player doesn't come to practice but still starts every inning of every game
… in a bracket game, the umpire asks the bucket coach to pull the catcher because he was hit by 3 pitches in a row in the first inning…it doesn’t happen.
…. your assistant coach has to pull the head coach’s kid.
…. your daughter is batting 4th in the lineup with less than a .200 BA. and the 8th and 9th holes hitters hit the ball to the fence more than the 4 hole.
….you take your two catchers to a lesson and the instructor tells you not to bring your daughter back.

here's a true one, few weeks ago niece played as a pick up player one weekend for a Waco 16u team:

1. Coach says her players are too good for 14u "A" tournaments that they decided to move up to 16u for better competition
2. Team manager/coach (mom) coaches from the stands so she can call balls and strikes.
3. Appoints her 13 yr. old son as assistant coach, grumpy grandma is dugout coach.
4. To finish the family affair the 13yr old twin daughters play 3rd/shortstop/pitcher...pretty much wherever they want to
5. Neighbor's 12 yr old is the catcher who by the way doesn't squat but actually STANDS to catch the ball. I lost count of passed balls and runners stealing bases

lost every game in tournaments play,opponents scoring looked like a football game.....so during her post game speech to parents,her brilliant solution to bring in her other neighbor's 11yr old for a try out!!!
Umpire said that is the worst ASA team he has ever seen in all his years

Did I mention this is a 16u team!!! Somebody please tell her that

When you spend the entire fall (trophy hunting season) playing down - consistently getting hammered by the younger teams playing up - and at the end of the day after all of the team fee's have long since been collected, you still have no metal.
