Sting

by sftbl411 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 2:45 pm

The new 14u texas sting team coached by Bob Morse did make a good impression in the rained out Stars Over Texas Tournament. In pool play the defeated Orange Crush 10-0, Southern Express 1-0 and Houston Power 2-0. Starting bracket play they once again faced the Orange Crush and won 4-2 then finished the cancelled tournament with a victory over the Fury 7-1. They would have faced the Power in the morning but we all know what happened with that.

Good job Sparky that a way to come out swinging with your first two post. We all know how proud you are of your team but your team is second fiddle to real teams TPS and Kaos so enjoy your wins and zipp the lip. And to answer your question ya'll probable would've lost in the morning.

P.S If you have to brag on your own to for someone to notice then maybe your team is not worth mentioning.

Wow not I'm sure the sting org. will love those racist remarks. No I'm not a Kaos parent but a parent that's been around a few years. And no the Kaos didnt make it to nationals last year but the quality of teams last year were a lot better than you have this year. Sk Velocity, TPS, Jets, Magic,Power,Kaos, Phantomz. Also I dont think the Sting made it to nationals either. If you wanted to let everybody know how you did at the Stars tourney you should've left it on that thread instead of starting your own thread and then ending it the way you did.
I know it's your first time being on a decent team but we just started and fall for most teams is trying to figure out what works. But good luck to your team I have to go cook some chicken and eat watermelon.

Leave the guy alone, he is excited about his daughter and her team. Not a thing wrong with that.

I don't have a problem with someone being proud of their team but when you have to start your own post to get noticed and then ending it by saying we all know what would've happened in the morning. Like they have earn so much respect that each game is a gimmie. Respect is earn over a body of work not just one tournament. If you work hard people will notice you dont have to start your own thread. The other thing I have an issue with is his remarks about me being a KAOS parent which I'm not but to say I need to go fry some chicken was way out of line!!!!!!!!!! Way to pickem Bob....
