You must have never clocked the girl that played for The Lady Rage out of Seguin. I gaurantee you she was throwing every bit that fast, but then again they played B until they were made to play A at Nationals.. The girl I have right now has the potential to throw mid 50's by spring of next year if not faster. She has only been throwing for 6 or 7 months.. We will see but what she brings to the team other than pitching cannot be measured!!

Like I said if a player is in the 50-54mph range at 9-10 years old their parents need to be documenting the phenom for future college recruitment. (Please note: This is top speed not "consistent" speed huge difference between hitting it once and hitting it 8 out of 10) As much as I respect and admire the athlete with the stats below I still find it hard to believe 8-)

For the Record My DD is a 99 playing up in 12's and is throwing 42mph (c) and 44mph (ts) from 40' ft and 44mph (c) and 47mph (ts) from 35' ft when we go there. When I quote (ts) I mean in the course of a session with the revfire she will have 2-3 out of 30 FBs hit this mark I've seen 50 on the screen twice I do not consider that (ts) I call that a tail wind....

Good luck to all the girls and coaches this year I look forward to all the hype and excitement from last year leading up to nationals...

If you really want to learn something about your pitchers this is where it's at once you move to 40 ft.... ;) Maybe I'll rent it out at tournaments

go back to your 12u thread. we don't need your opinions here. obviously you have an issue with a girl pitching faster than your own daughter.

Don't get upset just because "REALLY" really proved that your DD doesn't throw
50mph. It's ok! My DD is in the same boat. With hard work the number 50 will come and go.

Just for grins and mind games I want to say my DD throws 51.733333333333333mph.

I am saying some of the better 99's may not be in the 10u division right now but will be there when they get to highschool. NO IT IS NOT MY DAUGHTER. Although I am proud to coach her.

And I need that one on my team in the spring!! :D Wishfull thinking I know!! :P

That's some good stuff Really. I have one of those revfire and have not even taken it out of the box. I need to do that one of these days with my older daughter. My younger one just started pitching again.

You'll quickly see a direct connection between spin, speed, and movement. If anything we don't use it enough..

I'm daughter is a 2000 pitcher and just getting started but my DD pitching coach has a 10U that throws 53 or threw 53 not sure what she is at now. I heard him talking about her a month ago. I"m not sure what team she is on. My daughter is only at 45 but making improvement. I told my daugher movement is more important that speed does anyone agree?
