Dodgers have what they need to make it to the WS but lost focus at the end of regular season. Oh well maybe next year.

^^^what he said...^^^
a successful season fell a little short, maybe need to pick up some starting pitching for next year.
how old is broxton?
if he is under 25, he could still grow into the closer's role.
i think they have a bright future.
at least the lakers are starting...
Broxton is 25 and I agree with your post.....He will still get better although I think it would be a great idea for him to lose 25 or 75 pounds....6'6" and 295 pounds (Yeah Right).......
The only reason we lost this series is our pitching.....Hitting was OK overall and we made only 2 errors on defense in 8 games....Not bad!!
Torre made a POOR decision bringing Kuroda on to the roster and leaving off Weaver and Jon Garland......Those 2 guys are hard working EXPERIENCED veterans who have been through the wars......OH, AND THEY WEREN'T COMING OFF OF AN INJURY....This experience will be good and humbling for Billingsley who could also lose a few hundred pounds.....Randy Wolf is a slightly above average pitcher who got HOT but in reality is a good #4 or #5 for someone.....Kershaw will be an ace in a year or two.....And Billingsley will too!!!!!
Oh, and how about replacing Blake at 3rd with Belliard instead of Hudson who was a stud all year.....His speed could've helped......
Oh, and....NEVERMIND....I'LL QUIT NOW BECAUSE I'M RAMBLING AND IT JUST HURTS SO BAD!!
