I'm not going to restate the case for why this is absolutely relevant to, and the business of, the entire softball community, and why the legal standard of "innocent until proven guilty" is wholly inapplicable here, because we already had this discussion from A to Z and back again in the earlier threads. Suffice it to say that the position stated above got obliterated in that exchange (IMO ).

Unbelievable - I pray to God you people dont ever have to "wait for the legal system to do its job". With regard to these crimes, the legal system will NOT do its job. Not an opinion, that is a fact.

I agree with that, and, leaving aside the allegations that this isn't the first time it has happened, I'm also not convinced that the facts of this matter are particularly egregious (unless coersion or the like was involved).

But it is important to the continued vitality of the sport--which I repeat is our concern--that such situations are addressed appropriately. Allowing this guy to attend games or otherwise interact with the players gives the impression that TNL, and by implication the sport at large, has a laissez-faire attitude about sexual abuse. That's not the picture we want painted, so criticizing TNL about it is legitimate.

I agree with that statement 100%.. As mentioned by Demonboy is their a document that you can post SBJ..? I as a parent can not see how he has the Audacity to still show up at games, with that case putting a Bulls Eye on his back by the softball community...!

I saw him at a friendly and tell you the truth I was embarrassed that he was there. When is the court date, does anyone know? This guy is ruined anyway you look at it innocent or guilty. If they arrested him they must have had good reason to do so but you never know. I know one thing for sure my kid would not be flying those colors ever again if he is found guilty.

Softballjerk, It seems to me that someone who barks so loud about something usually has something to hide themself. And don't give me that crap about not having a personal vendetta against "TNL" it's quite obvious you do. If you have so much proof why don't you enlighten us. Or you afraid something might come up with your name in the future. I'm sure you will want the judicial system to take it's course then! As for "It's time for the parents to start being parents" the next time you see TNL at a tournament or friendly why don't you take a break from working the snack bar or chalking the fields and come up to my face and tell me what a BAD parent I am. I don't know this guy and I do not know the area. But, I would be concerned that he is at the softball games. Wasn't there an order of protection handed down by the judge that he wasn't to come within so many feet of the alleged victim? How does he know where she would be?

If he has all of these supporters, why doesn't he just teach private softball lessons?
