Do any of you know of Billy Renfro? I have a chance to get my daughter in there and I have heard from friends that he is a good coach, just want some more opinions.

I think that he is a very good coach. My oldest daughter went to lessons with him and now my younger daughter has lessons with him. What I like the best is the fact that he pitches to the girls and doesn't use a pitching machine during hitting lessons. He can throw any pitch and also does pitching and catching lessons. He is usually booked full and it can be difficult to get a time slot with him.

I agree, very good coach. I tried years ago to get in with him, and he has always been full.

Billy is a great coach. He has taught my dd now for 4 1/2 years both pitching and batting. He works both the physical and mental sides and breaks it down so the girls understand what they should be feeling in pitching and hitting. He tells the parents what to look for when practicing or in games. My daughter's WHIP for last year was less than 1.00 for the year. He focuses on movement of the ball in pitching and lets the speed come as the girls develop in age and physical size. If you can get in - DO IT! He teaches some of the top high school prospects in the area and some of the areas top high school coache's daughters.
