96 Diamonds, who placed 2nd at last years 10U ASA "A" Nationals, seem to be doing ok but not strong enough to beat the top 12U teams.[/quote]

The 96 Dianmonds have not been very impressive this year. They do not have the same dominate pitcher the had at Nationals and there infield has some different players as well. They are not even close in talent as some of the top teams 96 from Houston (Aces, Peppers, Sting). The do have an incredible catcher and a couple good hitters, hopefully will get back in form.

Who was their dominate pitcher? Did she go elsewhere?

I think these are local tournaments.

This team seems to play almost every weekend so they were probably looking for tournaments.
