D-Bat 12U

by amazing » Thu Dec 10, 2009 2:41 pm

I have had several people ask me about the 12u D Bat teams. They are thinking about trying out their respective DDs. How many teams? Who? Who coaches? Any top players? Any information would be appreciated. What is the long term vision ? Looking for the Heybucket angle and feedback here?

To give you my take on Dbat 12u, there are 2 teams in this age level but have completely different skill levels. The lesser competitive of the 2 will be playing in the 7gg 12U tourney in White Settlement on Sunday the 13th. They work hard but struggle just to get to the 2nd day of a tournament. They are a work in progress.

The other Dbat 12U I believe is the former Flower Mound Rage that won the USFA 10UB World Series in Panama City this past summer. They've added a few players and they will be 1 of the top teams in 12U in 2010.

Agreed...D-Bat Allen is a good squad...D-Bat Tolan is a rec team that needs tons of work.

The Texas Glory 97 is a superb team, capable of hanging with the vast majority of 14U teams in town. I've seen them play several times....VERY impressive. I think Glory would win hands down.

not seen Redhots, know of their body of work however. Played glory twice in the last 2 months, sense is they would be pretty evenly matched, but 7's mom is right, current version of 97 Glory is VERY good

97 Glory would sleepwalk backwards through 98 Dbat.
