Why don't polygamists' wives wear watches?

Because there is a clock on their Easy Bake Oven!

Bada bing!

Funny! But seriously, when I saw the wives interviewed on TV, I got a creepy feeling. Now I am no expert on abused women, or psychotherapy in general, but the subdued and quiet nature of those women who just had their children taken away from them seemed very strange, as if they have gotten to the point where they don't show (or aren't allowed to show) any emotions. It was just weird.

I watched a show about cults last night on National Geographic.
It was about Michael Travesser.
Talk about creepy, mind-controlled people!

If I were presented with the two choices--A) handing my kid over to a polygamist sect, or B) handing my kid over to CPS--it would be a tough decision.

Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.
