What a disaster their tournament site is. Dates are all over the place, adult tourneys all lumped into the mix, tournaments across the globe posted when all you want to know is a state and and age group and you have to sift through 20 something pages.

Good luck with that ASA....What a mess!!!

I agree this is a mess. I went on there site to look at there tournaments and you can't get the *upid thing to do a simple query. Like all tournaments in Dallas ASA and 8U or 10U A or 12U A...etc...there query statement runs if you select And at the top then it is stuck to AND for all the values.

I want to find all tournaments in Dallas for a certain set of age groups or classes...crud

Gee PBJ I see a need for a good site to post DFW Fastpitch tournaments. I wonder if someone could develop one. Hum I can't tell the name of it because I have peanut butter stuck to the roof of my mouth.

USFA that's fine and dandy...but I have a couple of questions. If a team registers for a tournament via dfwfastpitch.com will they actually be registered there and the registerasa.com site?

I saw that on that dfwfastpitch.com site it looks like it'll have a place for what teams are coming and pool and bracket schedules... but I also saw that a couple of the tournaments it said teams registered and there was a number of like 3 or 4...but when I opened up the tournament it didn't list any teams.

A long time ago I stated I could care less what association or where we go to register to play just as long as we can still do just that...register to play.

If ASA finds out that another website is listing there tournaments other then registerasa.com don't you think they'll have a big stink and try to get there tournaments off of that site to redirect everyone to there crummy site?

PBJ answers to your questions.

1) DFWFASTPITCH is not related to any other site we cannot post to anyone else database.

2) The site is still being tested and some information may not be correct I will correct it buy the end of the month. Yes teams can join on the site and pools games can be posted. We are still working on the brackets. Not all pages mapped yet.

3) ASA allowing listing elsewhere is an ASA decision. I personally think you should advertise everywhere that you can.
