97 Texas Pride out of Plano has some incredibly speedy girls. They can wreak havoc with their short game.

Which team are they on VTD? Google says Edwards but they don't look like 97s

If speed was the determining factor to be a superstar then Renaldo Neamiah would have been a star when the Cowboys drafted him in the 80's. Gimme a bunch of bombers over a bunch of slap happy, no real skill hitters and I'll be happy.

Those girls can fly!!! The fastest girl on that team, the SS, now plays for the Lewisville Force. Those girls can move pretty fast also.

I have a close friend who is affiliated with the '97 Texas Redhots and they said that they just got even faster with their latest additions. We will have to wait and see, but supposedly they now have 5 girls that run home to 1st between 2.75-2.99 and 2 others that run 3.00-3.10, if this is true, then having 7 girls that can run like this would be pretty impressive, especially the way they can hit too. :o

I also know '97 Storm Elite has a few REALLY fast girls at the top of their order.

If they truly have 7 that run 3 flat or under, then they must have made about 6 "latest additions"

Idk, I guess we will have to wait and see. I haven't paid much attention to their speed when I watch them, I just know notice they steal a ton of bases, and hit the ball really well. Are they slow for the most part? What's your take on them? Maybe my information is not true.

Anyways just thought I'd share what I had heard and thought those were some pretty good times.

They are a terrific team of very good ball players from all aspects. I think most everyone in their respective age divisions hold them in fairly high regard. I wouldn't say they are particularly slow, no. They had/have an entire roster of great athletes. They didn't have 7 sub 3 athletes though and my guess is that they don't now. Then again maybe they do, I'm not close with the team and I live in NTX and my DDs are much older. I think at times parents/coaches either exaggerate or don't know how to operate a stopwatch.
