McKinney's pitcher - Jennifer Gilbert - Signed with Ball State
Wakeland's pitcher - Alexis Cantu - Signed with UTA

2A region 1 - Early
region 2 - Brock's pitcher tore ACL last fall playing basketball but should be on the mound when district games start. Catcher had knee scoped and cleaned last month. Only other returning starters are 2 OF's. If pitcher is back to 90% they make it back to state.

3A region 1 - Burkburnett, West, Gatesville

4A region 1 - Birdville, Denton Guyer, Denton Ryan, Canyon (sleeper picks Azle, Aledo)

5A region 1 - Plano East, Coppell, Weatherford, Burleson

8-4a 2010 predictions:

1)Mansfield Legacy
2)Granbury-if only pitcher is healthy-if not disregard
3)Stephenville
4)Mansfield Timberview/Joshua

2009 order of finish:
1)Joshua-graduated 10 seniors
2)Crowley-only pitcher moved
3)Mansfield Legacy-very young team loaded with talent and speed, graduated 1 senior
4)Granbury

Mart should be good in 1A - Decent number of talented girls for such a small school.

Played Keller in the playoffs last year... I believe they only lost 3 or4 players (including the pitcher). I don't know what they had on JV last year or if they have any good freshmen - but can you ever really count them out?
