Yeah most 16's are idle right now. But does not mean people can not still put there 2 cents out there for pre-season predictions.
IMO, I think the 16's will be all younger teams till metro's and qualifiers. I think it will be hard to predict anything just yet.

But I will be willing to bet that these teams do well.
Glory(hart)
Glory adkins
Glory (naudin)
Tx elite(floyd)
Kruzers
AF(rhinehart) if he has added some depth
Xtreme (sinclair) if he added another catcher

Before you all beat me down. Remember JMO.....

No real shockers there. Pretty much the same teams for the past few years in this age group from DFW and they all seem to make some noise at the end of the season.
Not too many 16u teams in Houston worth talking about but these two stand out to me.

If this list doesn't include Texas Fusion it isn't much of a list. Last Fall they went to a tournament in California and Spy Softball said they were one of the top teams there.

I think you are right on with Hart and Naudin and Atkins but I would replace Floyd with Mongillo and take out Xtreme and Freedom.I think this will be a 4 horse race

Texas Blaze Prinzo has to be in this group, even though the coach is a nut and the organization is crumbling due to bad management at the top.

Texas Storm also has to be included due to some very dominate play over the past few years.

It will be hard to say since a lot of girls have decided to forego 16U and head to 18U.
I would put Montoya's team in the mix somewhere too.

16U TX Fusion is a good team, but not one of the Elite (not organization's name) teams.
They will probably make it to Nationals because Dallas Metro and Fort Worth Metro take the top 2 teams and there are usually only 6+/- teams signing up. Half of them have no REAL shot and placing, so it is almost by default.

12U-A National Qualifier: 9-teams! 6-teams had no shot! "96 TX Fusion wins.
12U-A Dallas Metro: 1-team entered! "96 TX Glory
14U-A Dallas Metro: 7-teams entered. 4-teams had no shot! D-Bat won.
16U-A Dallas Metro: 6-teams entered. 3-teams had no shot! TX Fusion 16U won.
14U-A Fort Worth Metro: 6-teams entered. 4-teams had no shot. Kruzers and Montoya won.

Unless something has changed, Kruzers are 14U.

None of these 16u lists mean anything until players come back from high school. A lot of rosters from the fall will look entirely different in the summer as some players move to 18u Gold and diamonds in the rough are found during high schooll ball. Also, the freshman year and sophomore year is where lots of players stop playing all together as reality sets in that they are not Division I talents. That said, you have to add Mongillo, but Fusion has to prove it's found pitching to replace their big lefty. Without her, they are not the same team that went to California.

They were included. Unless you were referring to the Storm Demerini bunch? I would like to add the Rebels (last yr Jets) to the S. Tex list, they picked up a few new faces that should help them along. Now that the HC is getting his Prozac daily , all should be good! ;) Lefty that was a joke! see the winky guy!
