It is true! We started the championship, with the Cobras jumping out to a 2 - 0 lead after one inning of play. Rain delay in the bottom of the 2nd, rain quit and when we went to restart the game it started raining again. We just made the decision to forfeit for the simple fact that the delays caused by the rain, ITB's and other misc delays put us playing a 7pm on Sunday night. We took in account that everyone on our team had an hour to an hour and half drive home. All these teams will see each other many more times throughout the year and we will meet again. Thanks to HitAway for putting on a great tournamenet and all the teams for the good softball played this weekend.

See you at the next tournament!

Not really, just smarter than you MaryAnn. Just created you a new log in for this post I see. If you're scared, just say you're scared. 10 year olds, school night and long drive. You have right to your opinion, even if it is behind a mask!

Are you the manager? Was it your decision to quit the game? You have a right to your opinion too and you know what they say about opinions don't you?? Good luck in your next tournament, maybe the weather will be better and your team can finish it.

How come there are no Waco teams on your list? Didnt you hear? The best softball in the world is from Waco, Tx. Just ask them! I know none of their teams ever qualify but they really are the best, they told me so!

Not the Mgr. I would rather be a team that makes it to the BIG Dance and chooses not to dance, rather than a team that can't. Probably like yours! I feel the need to let you win this debate so you can feel what winning is, but you would probably misunderstand the feeling you would get and become confused. The way I see it is you are either a team that couldn't make to the end or are the other team that did. Either way get a life! By the way we don't need luck!
I'm sorry if we hurt your feelings!

Don't let em ruffle your feathers 6th Sense. I completely understand and probably would have done the same thing. I was ready to head home before our last game Sunday night because it was cold, wet and had a long drive too! Head coach made us stay which was Ok too. Great job making it to the ship.
