I take the Colts to cover the spread, whatever it goes up to. Too much Peyton, and their D is rock solid. New Orleans hasn't seen a team this good all year.

I'll take the Saints with the 6 point spread ... but I think the Colts pull it out in the 4th quarter in a high scoring game ... Based on my track record, that means Colts 10- Saints 3

Unless the Saints use a defensive scheme that causes Peyton to make critical errors in judgement, which I haven't seen anyone do lately, I see the Colts winning. That means the smart money is on the Saints.

I really like Peyton's mastery of the position and I like him aside from that but I really hope the Saints win. The Saints are now "America's Team" and I would love to see them win it for the people of New Orleans. Archie sure is in a unique position.

I don’t think the Super Bowl game will even come close to the Saints/Viking game. Two great offences tied and the Saints win by a field goal. Farve took a beating and still tied Brees, on the board, minus the field goal. I don’t know who will win the Super Bowl but I would like to see both QB take some hard blows and then see who comes out on top. I don’t think Drew or Payton can take multiple shots and win. Farve took multiple shots and still performed. Drew took one shot and barely made it off the field. Just sayin’ what ever defense can get to the quarterback will win, I’m taking Colts to win.

My view of Saints/Vikings was that the Vikings uncharacteristic number of fumbles turned an easy victory into a loss. And those fumbles were not caused by anything more than a typical tackle without any intentional act aimed at the ball and in the one case, caused by Peterson forgetting how to receive a handoff. I wish I had a different take because I wanted the Saints to win and show they were the better team but it seemed almost comical how often the Vikings were dropping the ball. Didn't the Vikings outgain the Saints by something like 200 yards? Now whether the Colts defense without Freeney (or with a significantly hindered Freeney) will have the same level of success against the Saints as the Vikings defense did will be interesting to see.

I'm sure it will haunt him for the rest of his life. One QB slide and it is field goal time. Die hard Saints fan, just wishing the old dog got one more chance.

That 12 men in the huddle penalty was the killer. Who was to blame for that? Doubt the next play would have been a pass. May or may not have changed the outcome.

When Favre threw that pik in OT, he had 10 yards clear in front of him to run and slide and let them try for the field goal ... Look, I respect the guy and his drive, endurance & cojones ... but he got hit so many times that he blew that one ... me thinks ... but , they also had many other chances to put that game away in regulation ...
