So, is anyone paying $4.00/gallon for gas yet?

What's on your mind?

I dont even want to talk about gas and gas milage...and my van does pretty well on gas it gets around 26. My DD goes to school 27 miles away....so if I just go to town to take her to school twice I only put 108 on my van...that doesnt happen that often though

Am I the only one on here who doesn't know how much their gas costs? It's not like I'm going to stop driving, so I never pay it any thought (although "Ooofda!" has been my reaction to the total cost of some of my recent fill-ups :( ).

until the addition of the new car, i don't think my MPG in anything i own is over 10mpg.

$100 is not uncommon for a fill up, god forbid if we take the motorhome anywhere. 75 gallon tank....do the math
It's better to keep your mouth shut and look like you're stupid......
than to open it and remove all doubt.

..since it's not uncommon to see a $0.30 difference between gas stations that are across the street from each other, I suggest giving the price a glance...

Really? Around here, every gas station in the area is exactly the same. If one raises or lowers their price, the rest follow suit literally within the hour.

My wife put $80 in our Avalanche the other day and didn't fill it up. This weekend, we took my new Toyota Matrix to Johnson City TN and when I filled it up from almost empty, it was $37....I think that finally got her over the fact that I traded her Pilot in :)

Media idiots: learn the meaning of the word troop(s). A soldier is not a troop, stupid.
troop: 1 a: a group of soldiers; b: a cavalry unit corresponding to an infantry company; c: plural: armed forces soldiers
