Bomber Shoot Out 14U 3/20-21

by men talljie aunt » Thu Mar 11, 2010 12:20 pm

Thats phu knee Underdog. I like your style. Oh and that hot air you speak of is really just the heat coming from the kitchen. And you know what they say about that - if you cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen. All kidding aside I really do like your screen name and avatar. In fact I dont think there is a more fitting name for someone from Houston. Kudos to you for the recognition to admit it.

OK spidey thanks for the clarification. I owe you an apology for assuming you were a Fusion parent. However, I am beginning to figure you out by process of elimination. Knows Kruzers very well, seen Fusion play several times and does not have a daughter playing for Fusion.

How many have left Storm this Spring so far? How many have left Storm since the 14U group formed last Fall? Do you really think it is all the "parents" fault with that amount of people leaving over such a short period of time? There has to be an underlying reason, no? Maybe it's the coaching and their philosophy?

All of this talk about different teams and what 'kind of' coaching they have. Which teams have the best coaching and why are they considered good coaches? Feel free to identify the teams that have 'bad' coaching as well.

Are you talking about game management skills, assuming good practice skills based on the way teams play, etc.

Also, what makes them bad coaches? Player turnover, a$$ at every game, conceded, etc.

The Peppers and Sudden Impact seem to have litte turnover. That would tell me that they both have good management and skill development since the both win! Phantomz have not had any movement at all. They have a mix from 97 to 95, that says something for skill development. Sting blue started with 16 and are down to 9??????????????? sting white ... monkeys mom can answer. tx lite, if you like hard nose coaching that is the team for you. Frito don't remember you exposing your team but if you have lost some... proof is in the pudding.

Should be interesting... If my memory is correct, I believe the last 2 championships have gone to makeshift teams composed of eighth-graders from 16U teams that weren't playing. Last year they were girls from 2 or 3 glory teams.

You never know......... :?: ;)

Where DID Mr. Smith post the information that it was going to be single elimination? I bet there are teams that are pissed off about that?? I wonder how they determined the 4 game pool brackets? Long way to go to possibly play one game Sunday on some sheety fields. I sure am glad he bowed down to the 12U's and let them play at Huber Ranch.

Ya;ll have fun.

Where has Zig and Patty been? Both taken extended vacations from HB?? I really do enjoy Zig's takes on on the surrounding tournaments and teams.
