Bat for 10u

What should I look for in a bat for my dd who is 11? Right now she is using an 17.5 oz. Rawlings. I was just looking for a little hotter bat maybe. She plays LL and TB. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Well I just saw a 8u rec girl using a 07 RT and she only does rec. so you could look into and RT or the TechZilla for her. Depends really how much you want to spend on a bat for her.

Jessica Mendoza TPS Fast Pitch bat. 100% composite for under $100.00 lots of 10u travel kidz use them & they have great pop. They are one of only a few that make a -11 bat. You can also use the Miken Halo Light but your looking at $289.00 no real difference in pop just alot more cash for a bat they will most likely use until they start playing 12u.

My 10 year old DD uses a Louisville Slugger Zephyr 19 oz./31 in.

I've been thinking about this one for my 10u DD and was wondering if any of the hitting gurus on this board thought this was good deal. She's a tall & skinny kid who's a consistent singles hitter but not a power hitter.

That is a great bat. They are hard to come by these days, with the upcoming rule chages, people are gobbling them up.

My opinion is that the 29 might be to small, so if you can find a 30 and she can swing it, go for it. Just my $.02

Yeah, the length is my main reservation about that one but maybe that's why it's still available and discounted. DD is currently swinging a 18/30 so I don't think that would be too much bat for her to get around and I'd give it to her younger sister after she's outgrown it.

At 10u I generally prefer a bat that's a little to light to one that's a little to heavy. I know even smaller kids can swing a bigger bat with proper swing mechanics but they're just starting to learn them at this stage.
