Calling on all 12U teams, the challenge is made, the gauntlet thrown into the infield, the cut to deep to forget.

12U coaches who is going to pick it up to defend the honor of the 12U teams of North Texas?

We are playing at Craig Ranch on April 3, a one day 6 game tournament, so you can play and still be off for Easter.

Great price, great games, great location and yet only a few dare to sign up!

Could it be that the fear ratio is rising?
That the magic dust of the Texas prairie is in the wind again?
That the name DALLAS DONKEYS appeared first on the playing team listings?

Now all the 12U teams in North Texas must be busy that weekend, they have plans, the weather might be bad, they have to go to Aunt Tillys that day, they broke a nail, HUH!

The DALLAS DONKEYS are waiting, we have our new uniforms with tails attached!
(They are ASA/VTD/IFA certified too)
They are a secret weapon and will brush away 12U teams like a mighty fly swatter!

I assure you this type of device has never been used in softball before!

It does look like there is a tourney scheduled for that weekend and there is nine teams signed up, so I don't know what Joe Russell is campaigning for?

someone posted before about him having ties with IFA or TFS or something. he may also be campaigning for the umpires out there. more teams = more bracket games. his "teams" coach already came on here and said he was full of it.

Isn't this "team" still looking for "players" on VTD? I believe Mr. Russell has stated that this is a quality team, but I'm not sure how that can be when they seem to only be a team of pick-up players. When this "team" first began everyone seemed to really get pulled into the hype. Now they just seem like a big joke. Sorry Dallas Donkeys but you seem to have JoeRussell56 to blame for that. I feel sorry for his DD. Sad when a grown man goes on here and basically calls out 12 yr old girls. I hope you act better with your dd's "real" team. That's Lewisville Force right?

Sassy, you're right. JoeRussell56 has caused us much grief when all of his DDs play for other teams. He and I have a pretty rough history. I've tried to make light of the situation as I always do with this guy. He's trying to ruin the image of the Dallas Donkeys. We don't care about winning or losing, we simply want to have fun out there. That's it.

On behalf of the Donkey parent's and players, I would like to ask that you refrain from calling us a "big joke." We may not be as good of a team as yours or as some of these other great organizations that we so highly respect, but we always have smiles on our faces and that's what is important.

The actions of 1 person, whether it be fair or not, are enough to bring down a whole organization and based on that; I would be of the opinion that this whole Donkeys thing is a classless joke. They are a complete pick-up team and making a mockery of organized softball. Please keep having your fun looking like a complete tool on hb.com. Regardless of how you fare in McKinney, your team is a complete joke and shame on your for making your girls look like a bunch of jerks also.
