Bombers99 vs Cobras99

did anybody get to see the championship game between cobras and bombers this weekend in splendora? what a game. 1-0 bombers till bottom of the last inning cobras scoore 2 to win. great pitching performace from both teams. Is this going to be a rivalry in the the making? could be a good one....

I have got to say that I am suprised that it was that close of a game. Saw the 99 bombers play a couple weeks ago and they got beat soundly by the Angels.

Cobras need to go play 12u for the next couple of months inorder to truly get better and have more competition. Seems like they are idling and a couple of the other teams are getting better.

From what I was told Cobras were not having a good game. To be fair everyone has a bad game every now and then.......... Right? Bombers are NOT the team to beat. I do agree that the Cobras are just sitting idle while everyone else gets better.

Would you say they were having a bad weekend then ? I think the pool game between these 2 teams finished 1-1.

I have to give credit to the Bombers, it is tougher for the traveling team to perform to their real level and the Cobras were practically playing at home.

I would love to see the Cobras playing at the Bomber's fields after being bending in the car for more than 4 hours.

I'm not saying that Cobras are not a very good team, but the Bombers are getting better little by little and will be at their top for Nationals.

No I'm not, my DD plays 14u, but I have a friend on the Bombers 99 team.
We'll see what happens the next time they play against each other.
By the way, which team is your DD playing ? Is she a Cobra ?

listen, this was a very good game. of coarse people will say "o they had a bad game" when they almost lost. I can tell u they played well. the bomber pitcher did very well against them. can we say anything bout that?????? please someone who was there please let us know what u thought. just like any other teams they will play again. now if the pitching was not good then neither team would have done good. there where many great defensive plays. I give both teams credit for a great game.

Let's keep in mind that they are just 10. Any good team can get beaten by another good team on any given day. You can say they had a bad day or their pitcher didn't have there good stuff or one to many errors, whatever.

My daughter's team has had success against the Bombers, but I still knew before the game and after the game that they were still a good team, with good coaching and were going to continue to get better.

That is the same with the Cobra's. My dd's team has never face them, but I have heard and seen enough to know that they are good. They obviously need to be challenged in some different ways, for them to continue to improve and I am sure that will happen as we enter into the prime tourney season.
