Is the Bucket going to split out Texas into North/South?

by monkeysmom » Tue Mar 30, 2010 9:33 am

I don't know what the outcome was with the threads and the poll about giving DFW their own section but is that ever going to happen? Cali is split, only makes sense for Texas as well. JMHO.

Actually, "Cali" is a drug cartel.
All "California" is is your state's daddy when it comes to softball you moron.
It's astounding, time is fleeting.
Madness takes its toll.

Frito, please go take your meds, this is not a conspriacy and we are not beaming thoughts thru your aluminum hat

Spaz I was thinking N Texas/DFW and they could put whatever they want for the rest of us. Just thinking outloud and have seen lots of comments...we really are two seperate communities.

Split it to Houston Metro Area and Central/North Texas Area.
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

Most of the south went to fastpitchdirt to avoid the trash talking on the bucket. Gets old very quickly, and the moderator of http://www.fastpitchdirt.com does a good job of moderating the site to keep the discussion positive, and fun, about fastpitch softball.

we really are two seperate communities

Monkey's butt I couldn't agree with you more. North Tx/DFW is a community of winners, while Houston Metro is a community of whiners. You people from Houston are always whining about having to wade through the DFW stuff on HB like it is your birthright to have the entire TX board devoted just to Houston. If you go back and look at all the posts on here, Houston takes up 2/3 of them anyway. That is because you all are more concerned about measuring each other's appendages than devoting time to improving your DD's game and team. You people do more hopping than the Easter Bunny. Do you ever take into account what your DD really wants or is it just based on your overwhelming desire to thump your chest on HB and slam each other in the process.

Zig why split it to Houston Metro and then Central/DFW? Why not split it to North TX/DFW and then everybody else. And if we are really going to split it between the North and South it only makes sense for Austin to be the Mason-Dixon Line. Everything north of Austin in one group and everything south of Austin (i.e. Houston) in another. And while I am referencing the Civil War I feel the need to remind you who came out on top of that little skirmish.

I am a born and raised Texan and personally I agree with Frito on this one. We all are citizens of the republic of Texas.

mental ant, based upon your post I think you have your descriptions mixed up. DFW are the whiners and Houston Metro are the winners...obviously.
