Oh wow - finally got those Red Hots huh? Were the Rattlers in the tourney? If so, how did they do?

I would prefer to stay with just answering the question on the placement of the top 5 as that was a general interest question. I have a lot of respect for the coaches and players of the other teams and all games could have went either way. For instance, 3 out of our 4 games on Sunday were won by 2-1 scores including the intense final with the Red Hots.

I did not take your statement wrong in any way. There was nothing in your questions that could be taken as a negative comment toward other teams in the tourney in my opinion.

I just want to be careful that I don't say something that is taken in a way I don't mean by the other teams and any comments made regarding other teams, regardless of intent, are often twisted by others. I will just say we were fortunate to be on the up end this weekend. I believe there is a completed bracket on fastpitchdirt.com that will answer your questions regarding placement of all teams.

Hey Ice, do you know if the guy posting for ya'll on the dirt ?Has he found a catcher yet? I looks like 5 or 6 times a day for the past 3 or 4 weeks you would have found one by now if any were availible.

You obviously know that I am the same person since I use the same avatar and name on fastpitchdirt.com. We have had some bites, but as stated in the post we are looking for the correct fit both with the player and parents...we have one catcher and another that plays it well that we prefer to play in another position so we are not just trying to find a body. Therefore, we will continue to post until we find the catcher we want. For what it is worth, I am not posting 5-6 times per day...the post is always there I just bump it to the top.

If you don't have a DD that plays catcher and you are not interested playing for the Ice, then the solution is simple...ignore the post.

I thought the RedHot's were suppose to dominate 12u? I'm glad they decided to play 12u Tourneys and not all 14u Tourneys .
