There is a good 10U tournament in the making.....

by Get-n-dirty » Wed Apr 28, 2010 6:50 am

I couldn't resist generating my first post for what is considered the biggest 10U tournament to be held in the DFW area in years. I would like to wish all participating teams the best of luck. My picks are as follows:

Pool A
cobras
kruzers

pool B
mizuno
phantomz

pool C
TPS
ok force

As previously stated, Pool C is loaded with talented teams and the other pools obviously aren't a cake walk. I look forward to watching these teams battleing it out! Good luck coaches.

I've never seen a 10u tournament with this quality, I'm sure the games are going to be very intense.

I hope that all the players be free of injuries, the blues try their best and, coaches and parents exhibit good manners.

These are my picks:

Pool A - the easiest group, Cobras for sure, Thunder can beat the Kruzers.
--------
Humble Cobras
Thunder Black

Pool B - Mizuno is in good shape, Sneaky Cleats is a very solid team, Phantoms are close.
--------
Team Mizuno
Sneaky Cleats

Pool C - anything can happen here, OK Force and Cenla Heat are very good teams also.
--------
TPS 99
Texas Bombers
Strike One

When might there be gametimes. I have only seen a few teams this year play, so picking would be crazy----but I do have my favorite ;). I just hope everyone has a great weekend and just appreciate what these girls love to do, play softball.

Its going to be hard to pick from this group - I have seen the majority of these teams play. I have seen them all have their ups and downs.

I pretty much agree with cjdad's choices and you are correct Pool C has 4 great teams. Dont count out the Cenla heat - they are a great team along with the Force, TPS and Bombers.

Not a Glory parent, friends with them. My DD plays on another team in this group. I will say from what I seen their pitching has improved with the addition of a 99 from another team in this tourny, also they have a small girl who throws pretty well to. And they have added speed to their team in the field and running bases. They looked well when they roped us a few weeks ago. But their pitching is young.

Hi,

The Bomber parents are the ones that stream the games online. For the teams that are in our pool, once the times come out, if you have family that wants to watch the game online you are welcome to contact me and we can let those family members have a temporary password for that particular game so that they can watch their girls play as well. Good luck to everyone this weekend and pray the rain stays GONE.

Yes, we stream our games online to our parents and family who are unable to be at the games. If interested in the "how to do it" end of things, you can just contact me via my email below.

We use a password system to allow our family and friends to watch. As noted in my post from the Richland Hills Tournament section, our team travels every weekend. We have opted to go to more competitive tournaments than are available locally. This leaves many family and friends unable to see their children or grandchildren play without this technology. It is in its infancy and we are reworking it weekly to make it better. We have family members out of the country, those who are caring for sick family members, some that need to work in order to pay for us to travel :D , and several who are taking other sibs to games in other cities. This is just our way of trying to keep our 99 Bomber "family" going.

Good luck down the road.

If the 12's can beat the 14's maybe the 14's should play the 10's ;)
