There is a good 10U tournament in the making.....

[knucklecurve]

Hot Box.....keep your degrading rants to yourself if you would. I am sure you wouldn't like it very much if one of those 10U teams whipped up on your 12U team and then next you would be asked to go play 8U teams!

Bring your 10's and earn you bragging rights. Right now 12's got the 18's in there sights.

This was a very well ran tournament. Mizuno did an outstanding job hosting. We've played in a lot of tournaments and this had some of the best talent and sportsmanship by far. Our girls did an awesome job and played to the very end. A big UKNOW to the Humble Cobras for playing an outstanding game!!

congratulations to the cobras, force, phantomz, bombers, kruzers, and mizuno.

big thanks to everyone for showing up and making that happen. it was really fun, tense, nerve wracking -- good to be a part of.

theres nothing special we did to make that good. what made it good is everyone showing up and wanting to play ball. i still cant believe everyone signed up, showd up, an played up == but it made for a really nice weekend.

cobras, ya'll got it goin coming undefeated through there. force, ya;ll are a force. phantomz, strong showing, bombers, always fierce. kruzers, didnt get to see much but theyre always in to the end.

big thanks to nrh on the fields, all the blue who did a nice job -- some of the best we've had in several of our games -- and most of all to the teams who came in here to make it happen.

hope everyone has a safe trip home and all those girls dont wind up in detention from sleeping in class tomorrow. it's sposed to be close to me and i just got in half hour ago. i feel for all ya'll on the drive.

thanx

Marty, thanks for organizing want turned out being exactly what we thought it would be, a great weekend of great softball from teams from all over the place that never would have had the opportunity to play one another without your efforts.

I went back to count how many final scores ended up with a 2 run differential or less and came up with 25 games out of 51 games finished with a 2 run difference.

Great job to all teams and especially to the Humble Cobra's, Oklahoma Force (UKNOW) and the Pearland Phantomz for their respective 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes.

I hope to see most of you again by the end of June for a World Series/USA/ASA nationals warm-up!

This was an awesome tournament with all the teams showing so much talent and promise, maybe this year of 99s will bring back olympic softball again. The best thing is we have learned a few plays to work on and there was great sportsmanship from everyone. No 911 calls were made. TD and all who worked in NRH, including the umps, did a outstanding job and that's what keeps us coming back to Texas, U KNOW !!!!
