A Teams in Northern Indiana

by Stubs » Sun May 09, 2010 1:51 pm

There are several good A level teams/organizations in Central Indiana, primarily in the Indy area. What teams/organizations are there in Northern Indiana?

Crown Point Bulldogs are a very good organization. I don't know about any older teams, but their 98 team is very solid. I beleive they have a very good 97 team as well.

Come on dude, this is Indiana, anything north of Noblesville is Michigan and anything south of Greenwood is Kentucky.

Coolstuff, I think you're north of Noblesville, as someone who's south of Greenwood, I trust you can feel my pain!

To answer the OP, Werner's Shockwaves are one of the better teams up north.

That is an understatment. But wouldnt consider Frankfort quit far enough north. I would look at the orland park teams, chi-town teams, Indiana Raiders teams. Search Eteamz.

The Indiana Thunder organization based originally out of Goshen had a very successful 4 or 5 year run. The remaining Thunder teams 10U,12U and 14U are all currently playing at the "B" level but several of the past teams also began at the "B" level and developed enough to become quite successful "A" level teams. The Thunder "96" team captured the USA/ASA Nationals as ten year olds, and remained a power in the state until breaking up this past off-season. Hopefully, the remaining Thunder teams can eventually make another "A" level run.

Indiana Thunder 96 lost it's three top(?) players to the Indy Blast. Guess I'm going to have to move south.
