Danny...

...hmmmm....let's see... Playing VTD "Nationals" with only Texas teams?...or bending over for ASA in Midland? Hmmmm....I need to think about this one.

Again...

ASA = poop chute
VTD = fake Nationals

Let me think on this one...

Fake nationals may not hurt as much... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

A certain team in the Shreve/Bossier area gained about 500 points and become world series qualified overnight and didn't even play in a tournament. Anyone who keeps up with team points should realize what's going on and call "said" director and let him know how you feel about this blatant dishonesty. Maybe a boycott of his tournaments is in order!!

Anyone that chases a series that awards points to get to "nationals" gets what ever nonsense comes their way.
USFA :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I knew you were going to hear from Joe on that one. You see, however ridiculous as that may sound, that is exactly what VTD/Joe is doing with their "nationals." The only difference is that USFA will actually have a decent level of competition with teams from various states competing.

Jemima

How was Midland? Didn't see or hear much from the Diamonds so I guess those two games were worth the drive??? :roll: :roll: :roll:

What is even more ridiculous about VTD nationals, is that your entry fee is made payable to a local softball team, coached by a guy that is a deputy director, and who has a relative that he uses as the tournament photographer, and has posts on the bulletin board looking for players for both of the teams he coaches.

Gee, I don't ever remember making a check out to the Normal Flamethrowers or the Moline BatBusters when going to ASA Nationals.

Joe you would have had to actually be there to see me. As far as the Diamonds, don't really care. However, my team did pretty well and are looking forward to our trip to OKC.

Joe to be a true Nationals you are most likely going to travel. That is what happens when it is Nationals. If you don't want to leave the DFW area that is fine but don't bash teams that have higher aspirations and would like to play in a TRUE National tournament. Even if they have to drive to Midland to get there. Those teams committed to that level of ball don't seem to have a problem with it and will do what it takes to get to the National level of ball.

I'm not bashing anyone...but if Spaz, you or Jemima want to call out any org. for their flaws, they better make damn sure their own house is in order....ASA included.
