Let's compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges when including Team Indiana "Minton" as a Top 12U team in Indiana. They are a solid 12U "B" team. By no means are they an "A" team. Look at who they have played, no one that is though. The Twisters have probably been their toughest competition. Most of the teams they have beaten are 11U and Team Indiana is mostly an older 12u team. All of the top 12u teams are playing 14u. They would not have a chance against and would not be able to beat their way out of a paper sack against the 97 Edge, 97 Blast,12U Chix, 97 Dreams or the 12u Crown Point Bulldogs. When they decide to step up to the plate and start playing up in 14u with the other "Top Dogs" and being competitive there, then they might earn Elite status with the rest of these teams.

Rudy31, I can't disagree with anything you have said. However, I woud not call the Twisters their toughest competition though, but that is just me (they were beaten this weekend). I also would just point out that we are talking about 12U teams. With all those you mentioned playing up, they have to be considered 14U teams for all intents and purposes. With the scores I have seen so far, Team Indiana is probably playing right where they need to be. The 11U teams they have beaten are giving them everything they can handle and have actually beaten them once or twice. That being said, going into a tournament with Team Indiana in it means they are the ones to beat.

Rudy31? Really? Interesting username choice. Actually it is a painfully obvious and pathetic attempt to start something. There is a Rudy (my daughter) and her number is 31 on Team Indiana Minton. If I had to guess your real name does start with an R and your personality fits the nickname for your given name, DICK.

If my assumption is wrong then I am sorry, but I would say you are probably a father of a daughter that has played for TI and has a 12U daughter playing on a 14U team and not getting the same amount of playing time. We were sorry to see her and believe it was not fully (if at all) her choice to leave. It is a shame when parents don't understand that girl's happiness is just as important as her development in the sport.

I am not going to get into a pi$$ing contest about who Team Indiana has played other than to say they have played who they drew in pool and . The schedule Team Indiana is playing was created with the plan to develop the team chemistry, gradually test the team as the season went on and be prepared to make a strong showing at Nationals in July. The ultimately goal for Team Indiana and coach Minton is to develop and improve each girl's skills so they can advance their softball career while having some fun while doing it. I can personally tell you Team Indiana and Coach Minton are a fine example of how an organization and a team should be run. As for you and your attempt to stir something up using my daughter's it takes a small and insignificant man to try and smear such a great kid.

Backstop - Team Indiana did not make it to the IF game. Only had 2 pitchers for the weekend and we were on 6th game of the day. Twisters had a nice 3 hour break but we did it to ourselves by falling in loser bracket. Team Indiana is jelling with two 1sts and a 2nd in last three weekends. School ball is over and school ends this week, both whihc has limited practice time. I expect Team Indiana to be ready to play with any 12U or 14U team by early June.

I would like to congratulate all of the Team Indiana teams for their positive performances this season. Sometimes you win – sometimes you lose. Depends on how you define, “winning” and when.

The 14U age group will be a different a battle field once the high school students join their summer teams. 14U teams have had to scramble to fill rosters and keep their 8th graders playing. I commend programs that push their children and raise the bar of their expectations. The chix organization has a honorable tradition. There are many talented student-athletes in this area. The true season begins in the next couple of weeks.

Rudy 31- please contact me directly. Choose which of our teams you would like to scrimmage. I would love to prove to you our 12U Minton team is worthy of positive comments. Not sure you have played them this season. Win, lose, or draw those young ladies deserve more than a heybucket bashing from a non-informed parent. We may lose this year, and maybe next, but we will win in the end. This is a very long competition.

I would like to congratulate Team Indiana on all of their success this year, we(TWISTERS) were able to get a few more hits this week, and won the tourney. They did however play very very well and played twice as many games this Sunday as we did, thats what happens when your unlucky enough to get put in the losers bracket. I would have to say that TI is one of the best programs we have seen, they are a class act, and includes all of their teams. This does not in any way take away from the other fine programs out there, DREAMS-CHIX-EDGE etc. they are all very good, and we (TWISTERS) strive to be mentioned in the same sentence as those teams. Our organization has worked very hard this year and in past years to be a very competitive team, It"s sad to see someone bash a team that has worked so hard to get where they are today. At the end of the day they are still 12 year old girls that give all they have on the field. GOOD JOB TEAM INDIANA and all the other 12U's striving to get better.
