Top 14U Teams in Texas?

by HUH??? » Wed May 26, 2010 5:28 pm

Not that I care about the Ladycats (and I don't. I Just defended 13-14 year olds one time because "Metal Aunt" and "In The Know' were calling them ugly names), but if you truly wanted a piece of the Ladycats, all you need to do is sign up for a VTD tourny they are in. IF it is true and they are not playing ASA, then maybe you should get your team out of it's comfort zone and play them in a VTD tourny. Funny how your Elite-ness always projects "if you don't play us, then you are nothing". Maybe you should play them instead of talking about them. Maybe they don't want to play ASA and be put in the same Snobbish category as you are in.......Just a thought.

FYI: I don't bash ASA. I think there is a place for both organizations and if one makes the other better than so be it.

Ha! You'll play when I let you... upurass.

Sooo... I'm a bit curious...what tweens are you bashing these days? Ladycats? Or any others that actually play on a given weekend in DFW since none of your beloved ASA tourneys are making. Where are you playing? Or are you just playing Midland exclusively these days?

HUH??????????????????????????????? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

Are you really going to stand behind those comments? Is that really the defense you are going to take?

So just to make sure I am following you correctly, you are of the opinion that all of those teams that have played ASA in the past, are playing ASA presently and will play ASA in the future are the ones that have to prove themselves to some VTD team? They are the ones that need to get out of their comfort zone and play down to play some team. Is this not the same thing as saying the Cowboys should get out of their comfort zone and start playing some arena football team. The bottom line is yes they both play football, and they both play to win games and a championship, but there is a huge difference in the talent level of those teams.

What you fail to understand is that we do not want a piece of them. They are not on our radar screen. They simply do not play the same tournaments we play. They do not have the same goals we have. Doesn't mean we are right and they are wrong or visa versa. We have no desire to play VTD unless that is where the best competition is, which at the present time is not the case.

Well said Mental. You finally get what everyone else on the planet already knows. We all do not want the same things in life. We do not all have the same goals. The only difference you don't see is, you think one product is superior to another, although I give you a small bit of cred for leaving the door open for when that day comes (and it is coming closer everyday) for the changing of the guards. Look at all of your ASA powerhouse teams that you listed over a month ago on the DFW page. I know you remember, because you were calling tweens ugly names!

Most of them have played in the VTD tournaments, as well, and guess what???????????????????
They didn't always win! You will probably make the excuse (no matter who it is) that they are not really that good (although they were ELITE a month ago) and that they had girls in H.S. (like VTD team's don't have girls in H.S.) and I am sure you will bring up some other argument that helps your case, but try this one:
Maybe they are sick of playing the same two or three teams over and over in a friendly that means nothing and are looking for some competition (and they found it). They get that at VTD tourneys which are played all over DFW every weekend, in every age group. Keep holding on to your desperate hopes of continuing to be elite. Just remember, it don't have to be this way. You are trying (and succeeding) in class war.

LET IT GO MAN!

HUH does your team enjoy beating teams 20-0 in a meaningless tournament? Do you have to tell the girls to step on the plate so you can get a outs?? That is the difference. All the ASA teams in June will be busy qualifing for ASA not playing meaningless tournaments for little blue ribbons. I have saw your team do just that when you were blowing a rec team out this year but you are to much of a chickensht to play higher competition. I am going to Temple this week to watch our team go for the HOF, where are you white settlement earning VTD points. :P :P :P

You are delusional if you think VTD is even close to ASA, yea they have a few parks for people like Larry Wiest to line his pockets but what else do they have.

I do not have a team!
My DD has a team and they are not playing in White Settlement this weekend.
My DD's team has never beaten a team 20-0, and if they would have, that is a testament to how hard they have worked this year. They can't choose who is in their brackets no more than anyone can. They play who ever is on the schedule. Some bad, most very good (better than some of the teams you and MENTAL are talking about being the ELITE). I think you have the wrong team which makes you "out of the know".

Have fun in temple. We will be living the high life at the lake with family and friends.
If you would have taken care of business sooner, then you could have have earned a weekend off.

JOE your a H-O_M-O

Dude..."I have saw"???

...your use of "your" is incorrect and spaces between letters of Homo are not necessary. Let me help you..."JOE you're a HOMO". And the answer is yes, Joe is of the Homo genus family of bipedal primates. And you sir...apparently belong to the single celled organism with a flagellum family. In 5th grade terminology...you're an imbecile, an idiot, a dufus. PM me and I'll help you on this with some simpler terms...

If you're going to name call, at least pull out a dictionary.

Where can I find results for these top notch quality ASA tournaments that every elite team is playing, the only ones I can find on the ASA web-site only had about 5 teams in them, most of which were rec teams.

I think many will be in White Settlement this weekend where about 28 of them will show up. Those ASA parks will be closed for the weekend for rest periods. They've been under such intense use lately, park crews will be removing the cobwebs...
