I wonder how many of the other teams still had kids in HS ball and had to scamble to pick up ? :? Wish We could of been there....

I see that there was some pretty good teams in Temple but I did not think TPS had a 16U softball team. What is up with that? Did the organization get a new team or what?

Congrats to all anyway and wish we could be in Ok City with the 3 that made it. We will root for our fellow Texas teams and wish them all be best!

No bombers because of new braunfels canyon hs. Some centex teams had to be affected by Bowie hs. I am sure some key players missing on other teams.

That TPS team is the oldest one they have, I believe they are still eligible for 14's but decided to play up since Nationals is in College Station. They did show (as usual) that they can play with the big girls :)
BC...We still have one in HS ball, in addition, the player we were counting on to play her spot got injured in pregame warmups before the first game. That hurt for sure. I'm sure others still had some missing too. Plus, with so many players playing HS ball so late and this qualifier being so early, it's really tough to tell who will finish strong.
Good Luck to all Texas teams that made it to HOF :!:

We had one of our top two pitchers, and a starting 3rd basemen out do to HS playoffs, and our starting 1st base out due to injury. I know that Glory(Naudin) had one of their three pitchers out as well. Our game against Blaze(Prinzo) was a tough 1-0 win for us....I was happy with how we played overall, with the exception of the whooping TPS put on us (12-0)...our only other loss was to Naudin 4-2 after being up 2-0. BC would have liked to have seen you down there! Good Luck to the qualifiers, and any others that may potentially get their bids as well! Honcho Out! :ugeek:
