Phantomz and Sneaky Cleats need to be thankful that Intensity didn't have 2 of their players this weekend due to injuries or the results of the 14U would have been a lot different. Intensity placed third with 2 mediocre pickup pitchers who didn't do much but cause problems.

I don't know you and I don't know the Intensity but what kind of JERK calls two 13-14 year old kids that picked up to help a team out that lost their pitcher "mediocre pickup pitchers". I sure hope your dd is never "mediocre"...

In response to some remarks I have seen concerning sore losers ect.
First congrats to the Pearland team.Their girls had a very long day and played great ball to win the tourny.
Funny,I did not see any poor sportsmanship or 'poor losers' by the Cleats unless it was me trying to pump my girls up or the misunderstanding that the following game was to be delayed a bit.In the past we have always waited to shake hands after the final game and I didnt get our girls out to line up.If that offended some one then I apologize. The Pearland girls played great and I have nothing but respect for thir grit and talent.Hopefully we can see them again and have another great game as those types of games are the ones you really love to play.
Again, congrats to Pearland for a great job.

That comment was directed more at the other team I mentioned, but there was some stuff that came out of ya'lls stands. Telling our little girls in the press box to be quiet was uncalled for as well as the shoulder your catcher gave our girl scoring on a a play that the ball was not even coming in at home was not very nice.

Your team is very good and we do look forward to many more competitive games against ya'll. I hope your shortstop is OK. She swings very hard to say the least.

Good Luck.

.Will check out the play at home because that girl is not known for rough play.As is commen at most games I heard stuff more from opposing fans thruout the day then from ours as thats probably what catches my ear the most.
Again congrats to Pearland and also to our pitcher who had to pitch all our games as our other pitchers were fresh from hs ball where some didnt get to pitch at all.
Some great ball that we really enjoyed,a really fun tourny

Fair enough coach x-ray. Your team is really talented and we enjoyed the competition. I am sure we will cross paths again. Hopefully next time it will not be our 7th and 8th game of the day. It is hard to control the fans, that's for sure!! I know, I am one of them. All you have to do is ask our coach..

Bottom line the two best teams played for the ship in this one. 8 games by the Pearland Phantamz showed great heart (some of the biggest i'v seen). Lets Face it Sneaky Cleats are tough whether it is the first game of the day or the last. Their short stop is one of the most intense players i have ever seen. But it does not stop there, try to find a gap in their outfield, or a hole in their infield. Tourneys like this are what make our DD true A players. Sneaky Cleats have nothing to be ashamed. Their players left it on the field, and made their parents and coaches proud. I am not a parent of this team, but enjoyed every minute of the nail bitting games these to teams played. Thanks to both teams for the privilage to watch top notch softball.

Yes sir big billy, they have no holes and even are deep enough to be able to pinch hit for their #2 hole hitter towards the end of the game. That's depth. I believe the shortstop popped her shoulder out of place swinging the bat. That's a first for me and I can only hope that she is OK. I wouldn't doubt if she wanted to stay in and bat. #11 scared everybody on our side to death with that foul home run she hit in ITB. It is a credit to our pitching staff to hold an explosive team like them to two runs in two games.
