What’s the deal with 12U?

What’s the deal with 12U?
:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

To all the 12U teams who are staying home over the July 2-4 weekend I am going to put this bluntly:

What’s the deal 12U?

You all cluck around and talk about who is the best 12U team then when you get a chance to play with plenty of notice, everyone goes south?

Ok, maybe the real best teams are in Colorado but I can think of 10-12 teams who should get together and let the chips fall where they may?

In 4 weeks there is a 12U tournament in McKinney but only 3-4 teams have signed up?

Come on let’s play some softball, 12U style! We will be there waiting!

I would agree that with majority of people having a 3-day weekend, softball can wait since most of us are heading to Colorado and/or Florida for some much bigger tournaments.

I saw your girls play in Irving and you are a good collection of players, I can't call you a team though because they're nothing but pick-ups. I wish you continued luck with the direction you all go but I'm thinking you should make plans for a cookout because I don't think this one will make.

What is the point with all of the pickups?

Are you trying to thumb your nose at "the system"?

Just trying something new. Wanted to see what it's like to get out of everyone's comfort zone and just grab a bunch of kids and let them have fun.
