ok so all this negativity is getting to me. what about the teams. what did everybody think. I would of liked to see some better teams but it was still good. we were there for 10u. ok so I cant resist, I listen to alot of coaches on the sidelines and some of them are very cocky and ugly. why is this?

Joe is a very smart & friendly person kinda like a mountian lion.........But he is right about this. If you people knew anything you would realize that the field, lack of water & umps are not what this game is about it's about learning & growing, but with dumbass parents like im hearing your dd's will never make it...get tuff or get out!!!!!!!

Well its always the same at at PFX. Yes I agree with Joe also. Its think its ran by kevin Shelton of Glory. He got an award last year. I love the pros. They put on a great show and it shows what hard work will do. As far as the tourney, hell you always get bad umps in craigs ranch. The fields are dry and the one concession line. Bathroom stinks. alot of money for nothing. I thought Glory and the people who ran Glory were top notch. Whatever!!! Someone makes a killing here and people should boycott the PFX. Maybe they should move the event to some place else.

WE all should be accustomed to witnessing sub-par officiating at these tourneys. It's just too bad that sometimes blue negatively impacts games, especially when they aren't paying attention to what's going on "on" the field. These umps don't get paid too much and that's what we should expect, Garbage In and Garbage Out. If blue would make an attempt to get in position to make a call during a play it would take away a lot of the animosity, they could at least take one (or two) step(s) toward the play and make it from 20 feet away instead of 15. IF the girls are putting forth the effort that is the least that blue could do. just sayin...

We were there for 10u as well, had a great time but would agree with the bad umpires. Congrats to the Bombers and Blaze for taking 1st and 2nd place. I was alittle surprised by the outcome, didn't get to see the Bombers play in bracket but did see their pool games agaisnt Rip00 and Blaze, both resulted in loses. They must have been off somewhat in pool but woke in bracket...congrats again. It was a good experince for my DD even with our team not playing as well as we hoped.

Which parks have these amazing umpires? I've been watching this sport probably 30 weekends a year with my DDs and now my GDDs for I don't know how long and I have yet to witness a tournament with flawless officiating. Obviously I've spent the past quarter of a century in the wrong parks. So can someone tell me where I should be going to get these miracle workers to call games?

It is obvious that the level of play by select ball players has well surpassed the level of officiating by a long shot.

This is primarly the case because the head coaches work with their players to be fundamentally sound in all aspects of the game.

Why can't this same philosophy be practiced for officiating????

The most consistant officiating that I have seen this year has worked in NRH and Keller.
