Results are coming in: Outright Winners of the Bracket: Aces Express Gold, Gold Coast Hurricanes, Texas Blaze Gold, and Texas Glory Adkins. Congratulations on some excellent ball. In the second chance Bracket the Houston Power Gold defeated the Texas Bombers Gold. Dont know the winner of the other second chance bracket. Bombers had a great run through that bracket just to come up short.

It was my dds first experience at a large Gold event. She was excited. Her team did fairly well but fell way short. It was a well run event.

The qualifying game between the Houston Power and the Texas Bombers Gold was one of the best games of fastpitch softball that I have seen in a very long time! The game was back and forth for 10 innings with 3 ITB's.....both teams seemed to throw everything but the kitchen sink at the other to win the game......Congratulations to the Power on qualifying , the Bombers showed an unbelievable amount of heart and seemed to just run out of gas at the end! Having to go thru and beat the Peppers and then both Impact Gold teams on Sunday may have been just to much to finish the task against the Power!

This was one of those games that you hated to see anybody loose , especially with the final berth at stake!

Great weekend of softball

My kid plays for the bombers and was supposed to be there - she came down with mono and was very sick for a while, has recovered pretty well now, hope to be released later this week. I watched the game through the bombers website game tracker, and just about went nuts watching the little characters on the screen.

DonnieS, the Bombers looked real strong this weekend. Sorry your DD has mono, she might have put them over the top. Mono is no fun!

Has everyone caught up to Impact? I'm sure Impact will get there in the next couple of weeks. No real surprises....good teams got bids. Bombers and Impact I'm sure will be next in.
