All of the different age group brackets are posted on the www.dallasasa.com site. once you get there, click on the heading titled "Discussion" and you can get the bracket! Alas they aren't updated, but at least they are there! Same for ft.worth! As far as the quality of their play, I haven't seen any 14U play this year, but if they qualify, and want to go to nats, then I say good luck to them!

I actually watched all of the games last night. The DBat / Glory game played late was a really good game. Very exciting at the end. The teams, fans and spectators really enjoyed it. Which by the way is what youth sports are really about?
Poole struggled in the early game but came back pretty strong in the second game. Should be some good games tonight Glory Poole vs. D Bat to see who gets a shot at the championship game. I for one will enjoy watching the kids play and compete. I also hope all of the teams get a chance to play and compete at Nationals or State or anywhere else they have an opportunity to enjoy our great sport.
:)

Again General Lee, I haven't watched 14's at all this year, so I wouldn't know! How many were at each age group in Houston Metro's, and how many berths were awarded? I don't really know why D/FW isn't combined for metro's and then award two or more berths out of that(depending on #'s of registrants for Dallas and Ft. Worth combined)

The DFW combo seems reasonable... but my point was... before it was deleted...
that, havent most of these times tried to qualify in 3-4 different tournaments already... so basically the team with the most patient parents and big enough wallets to chase the tournaments all over Texas will finally get the berth from a 6 team tournament of questionably "A" level teams?
No doubt that some third place or fourth place finishers at the bigger tournaments are more qualified.
I dont know. Maybe Im too annoyed at the process to be objective.

And BTW- thats a really convulated place to post brackets.

How would anyone figure that out? Under the Forums of DISCUSSIONS.
