Good Luck at World Series & Nationals

by SlapLeather » Thu Jul 08, 2010 12:55 pm

I would like to wish all teams from North Texas and rest of the state the best of luck as they begin traveling to their respective national events, ie. the USFA or USSSA World Series or in the coming weeks to ASA National events.

I look forward our girls cheering for those in which we have batteld against all year on the field. It puts a total different perspective on why they play team sports and what good sportsmanship is all about.

Now it's time to bring some championship trophies back to Texas!! Best of luck to the players, parents and coaches and pray that everyone comes home safe and sound!

The core group of 10 players are still together and will be competing at the "A" World Series in PCB.

Since our team never regestered ASA, a number of girls will be picking up with teams to play in the USA/ASA "A" nationals for the experience and to try and help a couple teams.

Thanks for asking.

Now that's a very good question. I'm sure some 14u teams that are going wouldn't mind knowing which teams they'll be playing on.
My daughter is perfect, she knows everything. Just ask her.

Long way to go to get sent back home for illegal players. Better to be sure that everything is legal, especially with a few DFW teams getting sent home last year for this same reason. The teams picking them up should really look at the rules for pickup players to ensure that their money is well spent.

There was a TX team in 14s last year that got DQ'd for illegal players. Not bad info

If i'm not mistaken it was tha Kruzers who used the illegal player . I guess the penalty only lasts one year .
