VTD world series 10u

by ROCKETTECHMAN » Tue Jul 20, 2010 7:31 pm

I need Joe on here to explain. How can teams that were another team name, change names, coaches and players qualify for this? Number Two another team in 10u picking up girls from 98 teams and team in OK, oh must be the d-bat way! This is the great VTD for the betterment of softball. Whatever

Well POCKETROCKET...the way I see it, you been screw-ed. I suspect VTD has adopted the age old practice first developed and implemented by ASA...

...a practice commonly known as "too bad" and "we don't give a sh#t". Anyone who has played ASA for any length of time should be well versed on that routine...VTD probably hasn't perfected the practice yet, but if they don't mind their sphincter, they'll catch up in no time.

Rockettechman, it sounds like you need some cheese to go with that whine!!!

Are you saying that those particular girls don't deserve to be there, that won the games, tournaments, etc., are not able to play in the tourney because of why? If an entire team leaves a team for whatever the reason, the majority of the roster is in place and you want to steal that from the girls?

What did those girls do to you to deserve that?

Where does is say in the rule book that under those circumstances that you are unable to do that?

Rockettechman,

All I would ask is that you be specific when throwing someone under the bus. Which D-Bat are you talking about? We are dancing with the ones that brought us, minus a few that could not be here.

Well Get n dirty, I prefer colby jack and cheddar cheese myself, And I like more of a mans drink than wine. Nothing against you old Mizuno girls, no problem with them at all. Just how the dates were closed and then here comes a new team, with new coaches, some new players. It's not the same group period. Then VTD goes wow lets see $400.00 entry, $30 bucks a head for parents, thats an extra $700.00 VTD can use and ah shucks we can let them play.
Just seems like a croc to me.
I could give a rats ass if you want my honest opinion.
i bet the old coach is enjoying his new toys!!!

Actually Rockettechman, I saw them in Florida and they have the same team minus 2 players and they lost the one coach. So you can say their not the same, but they really are. You say they have new coaches and new players but that did not seem to be the case.

Their is a such thing as doing what is in the best interest of the girls, some call it at-large bids, transfering all info if the team is primarily the same team and give them the birth that they deserve which is how USFA handled the situation. That seems to be the case here.

Well It's tribute to the girls who have been through a lot of hard times this season. Not knowing who was their coach or what uniform to wear. They deserve to play. I know it looks bad to all. And If I was another team I would have a problem with TX MX. However just let them play and exchange gifts and be happy. Time will tell if this is the last of the team or the begining of a new day.

just remember Rockettech Man that VTD said this is all about the Money, oh I mean Girls!!

It has been about the money all season. I hope everyone enjoyed playing in $400 friendlies.Ya ya it was 6 game guarantee. DUh you could do that for a whole lot less money. So don't give me it is all for the girls!
My older DD played in several friendlies and round robins this season. Played in some 6gg ones for half the price. No brainer for me! We played a few VTD's with the younger DD's team but feel the tied rolling back to ASA.

I really hoped VTD would be different than ASA as they had stated. I know that VTD did wake up some people at ASA that things need to run differently. Let's all hope that both these organizations get back on the right track.

Is ASA "tied" or is it the "tide" you're referring to Danny?

In any event, any team/parent that flows with the "tide" should know that in DFW, teams will show up at certain venues ("ballfields" for you Danny). As long as ASA wants to play out of Ghettoway, Irving and a few other dumps...VTD will be in good shape hosting their $400 friendlies in McKinney, Forney, Southlake, NRH, Keller. It's just the way it is dufus Danny...it's just the way it is...whether the $400 friendlies of ASA of years ago or VTD friendlies of today, teams/families/players want a nice place to play, decent umps, and TD's whose names don't start with Glen or Dick...er, I meant Dave.

BTW...it's always about the $$$. Whether FWASA, DallasASA, USFA or VTD...it's definitely about the money. You're whining isn't going to change that....
