Scorekeeping Question: Base Hit?

No outs, runner on first. Fly ball hit to right field. Runner at first has to wait to se if the ball will be caught by F9. F9 gets the ball on a hop and throws out the runner at second base. How is this scored?
If the baserunner is at any other base this is a single.

Batter is not credited with a hit - they reached 1B on a fielder's choice.

Credit a fielder's choice
1. when a ball is put in play where a preceding runner is forced out on the hit, or
would have been forced out had no error occurred,
