Who is breaking up after Nationals?

by Reality Check » Sat Aug 07, 2010 4:43 pm

Yes, true about the Team Boombah break-up, only it needs a little clarification. And to be more to the point, it might be more accurate to say that these players were driven from Boombah due to a lack of effort in trying to fix what was broken. In the end, the old Tomboys players, along with most of the key Boombah players, will start the 98 Tomboys. If this strong core of players happen to find a couple of solid ballers to round out the roster, they could have a very formidable team. Of course, only time will tell.

Well rumor has it that as much as a couple of the parents tried to break up this team there was no way they were going to succeed. The core is much too strong I guess!! It's been said 3 of the biggest DRAMA QUEENS are no longer on this team and that's including the biggest drama queen of them all a "dad" who used to bitch just about everything. It's been said it's great that they're gone, that the team will be much better for this especially now that this team is in transition. You know the feeling after throwing up? That's how it feels... relieved.. thankful..!!! Who knows what the future holds; all I know is that it's a crazy world of select softball in Texas.

No Bull, I am really confused by your post. Are you talking about Boombah?

I was not talking about boombah at all. I'm talking about another team that some parents tried to break up around nationals. This team I'm talking about has gone to a great organization and will be a better team without all the negative shit those parents were bringing into the team. Let me put it this way everybody is relieved they're gone and don't have to deal with it anymore.

Congrats to the TX Heat and TNT for the 1st and 2nd Place wins. I had to post this one up for Team Boombah. What happened? Takin a lump? Laid an egg? You guys want to be considered in the top ten 12u teams? Come on...... 5th place in a tourny that was not very stacked to begin with. Here's what I see....Boombah got a few pretty solid players from the Tomboys, they had a couple maybe solid players......Calculate that -- Five maybe six core players = Three maybe four big holes that are going to be hard to hide. I got to watch you guys play some games over the weekend, and saw some really fundamental flaws. Several popflys hit the ground three feet in front of players. Balls going between the legs. Listen up folks, you dont get considered top ten with this kind of play. Lots of teams make it to your level, only to get noticed long enough for better teams to steal a couple of your better players, and then you are back on your knees and "Down and Dirty" all over again. Who knows, maybe you guys will make it maybe not. Do the coaches have what it takes to take this to the next level? Hope you guys dont take this wrong, but you have a few parents wanting you to be considered at a level that you are not.

Just my opinion.....

"Boombah won't tumble." There an up an coming B team. Parents angry that so much response was being made to the fact that they may be breaking up then. Well whata ya know. Core players? Incorrect 3 Tomboy players and 1 Boombah left. The rest are with NTKO & Team TFS. Like Ive said in the past Im very familiar with that team. Actually believe they could have made great strides in being possibly A team. Tomboys still trying to fill a roster, just check VTD.

Turn2, funny you think you are so familiar with our team. If that was accurate, I would think you would have got your facts correct. Since we have nothing to hide, I thought you might want to actually know the truth so you can state it accurately on whatever message board you so deem and hopefully help us recruit those wanted players we are advertising for on the VTD. Currently, we have 4 prior Tomboy girls, in addition to 2 prior Boombah girls (the 5/6 core players from Boombah that were previously referred to in the post you copied), and 2 from other organizations. We are very close to sewing up those holes! We wish only the best for the 1 girl that went to NTKO (which was there before our break-up), the 1 girl that has chosen to pick-up for the time being, (which may be with NTKO since her best friend is there), and the 1 girl that went to TFS. Since you are in the "know", if a middle infielder or pitcher is looking for a change and would like to try out, we would be more than happy to oblige. So, when you go around talking about the Tomboy team, would you be so kind to report back when you locate some players to fill those open positions? Thank you, we certainly appreciate your interest in our team!!!

Not really sure why you want to call out the girl who went to TFS but attempted to stay with the girls she has been playing with now Tomboys. I hope that is not an idication of what type of team you are. Just think that info should have been left unsaid. Could have just said one girl went to TFS and left it at that. I guess you think it is important to put out there you didn't want her.

That was NOT my intention at all deuce, just stating the facts. You could have said that about everyone I referred to, but for some reason your trying to stir the pot. The prior post made it sound like only 1 person from Boombah stayed and everyone else bailed. Not the case at all. In my opinion, TFS got a great player and so did the NTKOs! These respective teams know it. I'm tired of reading the falsities on here about us. The season hasn't even started and we are already being bad mouthed. It just hit a nerve ...
