My DD has been to 8 Nationals in 6 years.... every year we ordered 75-100 pins.

Every year we ordered too many.

This year - 25 pins. I am sure that will not be enuff - but I have HUNDREDS of pins from years past and that is just a waste in my opinion.
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!

as many pins as there are teams, plus a few more...
the key is going to the first pin trading on the first day, and then getting the missing ones as the week goes on...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

Find out how many teams are playing in the tourney. Buy about 10 pins per team for your team. That is a conservative number. 40 teams 400 pins. You usually get a discount on 500. Call Heybucket's pin guy he will give you a discount on pins and pin bags. Just tell him we sent you.

I just bought pins from him and they are sweet!!!!!

Click on the logo on the front page or go to links, classified ads or their is info in Fastpitch Discussion. Let me know if you need any help.
Better yet here is the info.

BTW Heybucket has pins for sale at 12,14 and 16 state tourneys. $2.00 each
Buy 100 of them I don't care........

My teams went solely to SPI for pins and those folks are awesome. I had my players design our pins a couple of years and they took rather crude artwork and turned it into some pretty nice pins. They are always on time and competitively priced.

Either that or the "nationals" was one of those USSSA types with all of 25 teams competing.

The horse on the Shut up and Play pin was a spinner with a red stone in the horse's eye and the pin had red metal flake on the guitar.

The horseshoe pin was a blinky...the softball was 3D on a small spring.

No pins even for my 16U Fillys team....but I released all my players to go to ASA Nationals as soon as we found out we weren't going to qualify....so that team didn't go to a National tournament.
