Who made the "ship" and who went home early? Any surprises?

Katy Force 98 lost to CenLa Heat 99 in championship game 7-4. Force played 7 back to back on Sunday after being put in Loser bracket on Saturday night by Houston Mizuno 98.
Great job by the 99 Heat and the Force for coming all the way through the L bracket to the championship.

Anderson Express y2K went undefeated all weekend won 10U.

Got a chance to see some good first year 14u teams.Must say comp. wasnt bad in 12u div.with Cenla Heat, Katy Force which had some good hitters.Didnt get a chance to see Mizuno play but did see Shockwave play against a good Stars and Stripes team and lost 2-0 to finish top 5.As usual Young Guns looked good.Cant wait to see who shows up in RM this month in the 12u Div.Should be very challanging for alot of teams.

Wow,a 99 won the battle of the states. Very impressive and way to go. Congats!

That should tell you that either the 99 team is really good and/or the 98 team is not as good as some would think. More tournments will decide that issue but I would have to agree that it is impressive that a 99 can take the tournment over alot of 98 teams.
