Wow sftballdad10u you must really love TSB! Always quick to defend them or start a positive string about their teams. Let some of the other teams and players have some of the spotlight and don't steal their thunder. If we didn't know any better we'd say you're a parent or maybe even a coach on the team? Couldn't be since you've lost to them plus nothing more pathetic than a grown man pretending to be someone else while pumping up his own players and team. Surely that isn't the case. Besides, their parents do seem a little "muzzled" at times. Either they don't enjoy it or are suppressed by the coaches. Who in the world calls it coaching from the stands in 10U! Everyone is cheering the team on, join the rest of the crowd TSB! There's a difference between coaching and yelling and maybe you're just missing it. JMHO

Playball-sorry we just know players on both CA & TSB. Not sure of when i pumped either team up or for that matter only TSB. Just trying to state some facts of what I have seen, if you have read my post I give props to most of the 10U teams that seem to be on the top this year. I have a 98 and we are not on a winning team this year but we have played all the 10U teams a few times. Let me be really clear with this one Playball i think CA has the better team right now for 10U but TSB, BB, VT, CF & AA's are also good teams and on any given day you never know what can happen. My comment about coaches from the stands, we came from rec last year & that is how games were run in our city, it seems like that was not the case when we played TSB. Not trying to pump up TSB, they will do just fine without my comments. Sorry to disappoint you I am only a TB parent nothing more, I do enjoy this forum as we are just starting our long journey as we have 1 more coming up still in Rec. Maybe I am missing it go Crunch!!!!!!!

No problemo. Hope their organization will loosen the law on cheering, err- coaching from the stands. Feels like a tennis or golf match when they play. Maybe this will help their parents out. Good luck to all the 12's and 10's this weekend. ASA should give more berths out cuz there will be several good teams going to plan "B" to qualify after this weekend.

What a bad draw for both teams!

Their team / players / coaches / parents / fans were about as classy as any team we have ever run across in all our years over travelball!

Are you affiliated with TSB? My comment wasnt AGAINST TSB, it was just my opinion ABOUT them and my observation, as you paint a totally different picture, I am not trying to put anybody or any team down. JMHO, a 10u team should still be having fun while they compete, and thats what TSB seems to be lacking. I will agree with you about CA's coaches being a little loud and abrassive during games but I didnt get the feeling that the girls were playing in fear, in fact, the entire CA group, parents and players, seemed to be having a great time, a lot of cheering, a lot of smiles, they seemed to be having fun without being "controlled". I disagree with you about #00 and #7 as far as pitching, were you in Fresno? I watched the TSB vs CA game on elimination/championship Sunday, in fact, I watched most of the games including the championship game. #00 was the starting pitcher during the TSB vs CA game, TSB hit her pretty good and got 6 runs in a hurry, then in the 3rd inning, I think TSB was leading 6-2 when CA brought in #7, #7 didnt allow any runs and shut down TSB, CA won the game 7-6 (maybe thats why you/TSB like #00 better than #7? ) I have never seen or heard about #1 from AA so no comment except for as I stated before, I dont think there is a "best player" in the 10u, there are a few "better players". State will be interesting, anything can happen, I guess all that really matters is who gets a berth to nationals

Just need to point out the oddness factor of you continually bragging about that team over and over and over again; just admit it. I mean you pretend to be on Crunch a younger team, so that puts you in the Chino area, right? Yet you take your wife on Mothers Day to Cerritos for dinner? C'mon man, where did you take her, Hof's Hut or Northwoods? With the beach and LA nearby this is where you go. End the bull, pretending is one thing but to boast about your org. and team is nausiating to say the least!
