Fall Season!!

by watchtonsofsoftball » Wed Oct 20, 2010 8:44 pm

I just went to quite a few teams websites and looked to see where some girls are heading to, and Mizuno has 2 girls signed, along with Grapettes and Breeze. Breeze has had a hard time getting girls to name schools along with Mizuno, IMO. From what I saw only Sorcerers and Lady Magic had quite a few verbals and to bigger name schools, if that is what your kid is looking for. Lady Magics list of verbals is quite impressive, but come next summer that landscape will change as it looks like they have a lot of 2011's. Sting has a few too, but that will change here soon as well when that young team moves to 18G. Or for that matter they may not even make it there before you see a couple of verbals. Schools right now are looking for 2012s BIG time, so keep in mind, you need a good team WITH a great College Liason. Im guessing both of those teams have great ones. Of course that is if the kids are doing THEIR part and sending letters, videos, updates, etc. I would think these other teams right now should be getting their kids some offers coming in.

Well of course any pool that has the mighty WA Mosquito Squad will attract the big schools like flies to poopoo...
It's astounding, time is fleeting.
Madness takes its toll.

Kudos to Tito the comic! The point is, as was stated by a prior poster, is that the CA Comets are in Pool A on Field 1 at Diamond Valley Park which is the main complex! What, no wisecracks about the Firecrackers and Cruisers in the AFC tournament? :D

There is one simple way to settle this debate:

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
Foothill Gold vs CA Comets!
7 innings, no time limit.
Site to be determined.
3 umpires.
It's astounding, time is fleeting.
Madness takes its toll.
