Illegal Bats at ASA qualifiers and Nationals.

My daughter has a Easton SCN1B...A parent this weekend said that her bat will not be allowed after January 1st for ASA play? The parent said that would be true for the SCN 2, 4, 5, 6, and the older Rocketech's.....any info would help....
