So 98 Dbat is now Glory Adkins. So who is next to jump ship? I say Streetman. Would be the smartest choice. They are down to 9 players, they actually have some talent, and with the Kruzers now Glory they will either make the move or implode. Thoughts?

Where would they go? 9 kids? Adkins has like 5 99 teams and Shelton has what 2? I agree they probably bust up next but I doubt they get picked up by another org. Doesn't that coach have a DD on the old 98 Dbat team that just went to Glory? Hmmm. Not rocket sciece.

Maybe they could be come 99 Texas Fusion and get back to their older sister team. Fusion has plenty of room

I voted Saldivar...he changes orgs like dd's change teams... ;) haha!

But on a serious note 99 D-Bat Streetman is a solid team (their core), i'd hate to see them go into another situation where an organization is carrying 5 teams like they went into with D-Bat. I understand they have some ties with Adkins and some older DD's (according to the previous poster), but why go to another organization where your kid gets lost in the shuffle? As good as that team is they either need to be independent, stay with who they are with or join an org where they will be their #1 competitive 99 team and not team #4. JMO

Correct Jason, it doesn't matter who you are with. You guys have a strong team, just need a couple of mid fielders.

#1 or #4 at what? Solid team, sure. There is not a D-bat team that can truly compete at the national level nor does the organization offer anything with regards to recruiting. I know this may be premature to such a young team but eventually they will realize that the kids that get lost in the shuffle are the ones who don't get real exposure because they are playing for an "independent" team, staying where they are, or worrying if they are #1 in an organization. There is a "number 2" team in a pretty solid organization right here in DFW with a roster full of commits. But a team should stay in an organization because they are the best at what? Winning trophies locally? Come on man!

What about the Black Sox? Maybe the organization is too demand$ng and not giving the teams any choice but to leave.
