I checked into the byron nelson pitcher. she is a freshman move in from alabama. she has good speed but is erratic and has control problems may throw ten balls in a row and then ten strikes As she matures and gets it down to targets, she will be a force

still have to go with birdville or brewer in this one since aledo has a lot of young players

saw boswell last night and they have good balance bats and pitching

get to see saginaw and brewer this week

Austin Bowie is overrated. They have young team and new pitchers.

Looks like Keller is making an early move.

We played them this week, or better said, survived them this week. They have the total package to go far- 2 great pitchers, effective bats, and good speed. Their only weakness was some errors late in the game from non-starters, but nerves may have been a factor. They were also fun to watch.

#2 Hebron knocked of #1 Keller (4-2) this morning in Class 5A action at the Allen Tournament however Hebron laid an egg in their game immediately following the Keller game losing 7-0 to Coppell. Hebron's ace threw both games.

Due to some rescheduling Hebron had a rough schedule.

They dropped a 4-3 game to Rockwall Heath at 8pm Friday night and had to be back in Allen for the 9am game vs Keller and immediately had to move from Allen HS to Allen Station Park for the 11am game.

What other tournament action has everyone observed this weekend?

Which bracket did they make silver or gold I thought Irving won third in the gold bracket over Trinity. Hudson and Ennis were playing for first and second in the gold. Do not know who was in first and second in the silver.

I was really disappointed in the field conditions at Veterans Park. Never seen such huge humps at the grass line and backstops with wire sticking into the field of play.

Are you kidding? Since when has Veterans been anything but a dump?
